Ethan T. Johnson, 27, of Paris, passed away on December 1, 2025.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Friday, December 12, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Paris, IL from 1-4 p.m. There will also be a celebration of life back in Watseka, Minnesota at the Miller Armstrong Building on January 3, 2026.

Ethan was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 25, 1998, the son of Joshua Johnson and Sabrina (John) Root. They survive

Ethan was known to be truly kind. Someone with a heart of gold, willing to help anyone, whenever they needed. He was a genuine and dedicated friend who was sadly taken far too soon. Ethan had a love of working on cars, and of course his beloved dog Molly.

He is survived by his parents; siblings: Clayton Johnson, Jorden Root, Justice Root; and several close friends.
