Esther Mae Twigg's Obituary
Esther Mae Twigg, age 87 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Paris Health Care Center. Mrs. Twigg had been a machine operator at Zenith Corp. and also had worked at the old furniture factory.
Born December 29, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Westhley and Olive (Rigdon) Grover. She married Francis Twigg in 1971 and he passed away in 1975.
Survivors include a daughter Shirley Sitkiewicz of Indianapolis, Indiana, eight grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Al and Michael Sitkiewicz and a daughter Carol Allard.
Graveside services for Mrs. Twigg will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018 at St. Mary's Cemetery with Pastor Nate Alexander officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Thursday at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. For further information and online condolences, please visit www.stewartandcarrollfuneralhome.com.
