Elmer B. Richardson, 72 of Hume, IL passed away at 2:50 a.m., Thursday, March 10, 2016 in Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL. He was a self-employed concrete finisher.

Following cremation a private graveside service will be in Edgar Cemetery at a later date.

Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.

Elmer was born October 8, 1943 in Franklin, Tennessee the son of Bud and Daisy Jones Richardson.

He is survived by his mother Daisy Richardson of Allerton; his children: Darren (Candy) Richardson and David (Betsy Liggett) Richardson all of Hume; his grandchildren: Jessica (Guthrie) Gardner of Champaign, Cody and Logan Richardson of Hume; his siblings: Beverly Richardson of Danville, Wilma (Bill) Ellis of Longview, Velma (Larry) Liddle of Huntley, Pat (Lisa) Richardson of San Diego, CA, Everett Richardson of Champaign, Jimmy (Chris) Richardson of Allerton, Kenny (Sue) Richardson of Boca Raton, FL and Jerry (Phyllis) Richardson of Hume.

Elmer was preceded in death by his father Bud Richardson; his brother Danny Richardson and his daughter-in-law Pam Richardson.
