Elizabeth "Libby" Sue Schaefer, age 75 of Olney, Illinois passed away 4:32 P.M. on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, Illinois.

Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home in Paris, Illinois. Interment will be at a later date.

Libby was born on October 14, 1947 in Paris, Illinois to Carl Eugene and Betty Sue (Davidson) Schaefer.

Libby was a member of the Otterbein Methodist Church in Paris. Libby enjoyed making silk flower arrangements, crochet, crafting and bingo. She also enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, and loved to make people laugh.

She is survived by her siblings: Steve Schaefer of Vermillion, Illinois, Randy Schaefer of Paris, Illinois, and Debbie (Vernie) Martin of Marshall, Illinois.

Libby is preceded in death by her parents and her brother.
