Elizabeth Joan McCulley, age 95, of Dennison, IL passed away at Cobblestone Crossings 8:23 AM April 3rd, 2025. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Paris, IL. Joan sold Avon for over 63 years and received many commendations for her sales work. She also canvased for charitable causes such as the American Cancer Society, while selling Avon.

Born January 10th, 1930, she was the daughter of the late William A. McCulley, Sr. and the late Florence Eldora (Hinkle) McCulley. Survivors include Nephews John A. Cooper (wife, Wynema) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Joseph Ray Cooper, of Stewardson, IL, Niece's Janelle Cooper Deblois, of Greenville, IL, Marita Cooper Huey (husband David) of Scottsburg, IN, and Angela Cooper Parsons (husband, Mike) of West Union, IL. Also, Nephew David Cooper and Neice Paula Cooper Brklach predeceased her. Also predeceasing her in their infancy were Neices and nephews Faith, Hope, and Paul Cooper. Many Great and Great Great Neice's and Nephew's survive her.

Joan was preceded in death by one Sister, Charity McCulley Cooper, brother Merrill F. McCulley, brother Samuel McCulley and brother William A. McCulley, Jr., for whom she cared for many years due to his Alzheimer's disease.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Monday, April 7th, 2025 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Aloysius Ndeanaefo presiding. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Paris, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Rosary will be prior at 3:30 PM at the funeral home.
