Dorothy Jane Brinkerhoff age 87 of Paris, IL passed away at 1:37 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017 in Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church. Services are 10 a.m., Thursday, January 19, 2017 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home.  Burial is in Grandview Cemetery.  Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church.

Dorothy was born May 7, 1929 in Villa Park, IL the daughter of the late Walter and Marguerite Goodman Hacker.

She married Donald Edward Brinkerhoff October 11, 1947 at the First United Methodist Church in Paris.

Dorothy is survived by her husband Donald; her children: Nancy (Mike) Ferguson of Paris, Rick (Betty) Brinkerhoff of Paris, Donna (Bruce) Weir of Effingham; her daughter-in-law:  Lisa Brinkerhoff of Des Plaines;  her grandchildren: Mark (Kara) Brinkerhoff of Paris, Jonathan (Marsha) Brinkerhoff of Okeechobee, FL, Christopher (Kacey) Brinkerhoff of De Soto, Justin (Nina) Brinkerhoff of Brookfield, and Scott (Lisa) Brinkerhoff of West Point, NY; her great-grandchildren: Adrian Brinkerhoff, J.R. Brinkerhoff, Chase Brinkerhoff, Wyatt Brinkerhoff, Cooper Brinkerhoff, Olivia Brinkerhoff, Henrietta Brinkerhoff, Shea Brinkerhoff and Claire Brinkerhoff.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her twin sons Tim and Terry Brinkerhoff.
