Donna Ruth Simons age 91, of Chrisman, Illinois passed away at 12:25pm on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Twin Lakes Extended Care in Paris.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00pm on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Friends may call from 1:00pm until service time. Burial will take place in Friends Chapel Cemetery.

She was born October 14, 1933, the daughter of Fred and Addie Bright who preceded her in death along with her brothers: John Bright and Jim Smitley and her husband Buddy Simons whom she married on August 24, 1952.

Surviving are her children: Terry Simons of Marshall, Illinois, Vicky Simons of Danville, Illinois, Laura Williams of Moline, Illinois, Cindy Adams of Chrisman, Illinois, Mitzi Boots of Chrisman, Illinois; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was formerly employed by C.U.S.D. #6.
