Donna Lee Hayes, age 75 of Paris passed away at 10:40 AM on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

Services will be held at a later date. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Donna was born on March 12, 1950 in Paris, Illinois to Leo Pearl and Rosella (Walls) Nicholson.

Donna was an artist, she enjoyed painting and crafts, as well as gardening, reading, and baking. She found joy in listening to music, especially The Beatles, Queen, Seal and P!NK.

She is survived by her son: Montgomery Bayless (Jennifer Vanmeter); her grandchildren: Alexandria Halloran (Sean), Max and Alex Vanmeter; and her great grandchildren: Myah and one on the way; and her cousins: Vicki Ewing, Brent Walls, and Kent Walls.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents and her sister: Diana Nicholson.
