Donna Jean (Hale) Evinger, age 85, of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 6:55 p.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Life's Journey in Paris, Illinois.

A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home in Paris, Illinois. Burial will be held at a later date in Vermilion Cemetery.

Donna was born August 24, 1935 in Clinton, Indiana, the daughter of the late Wayne Dunkley Hale and Evelyn Ruth (Cox) Hale.

She married Gene L. Evinger on August 27, 1954 in Paris, Illinois. He preceded her in death on October 26, 2019.

Donna was a homemaker and a member of the Vermilion United Methodist Church.

She is survived her children: Pamela J. (David) Anderson of Paris, Illinois, Brian E. (Amy) Evinger of Paris, Illinois; her grandchildren: Kimberly Anderson, Courtney (Charles) Montgomery, Brian N. Evinger, Shelby (Matt) Sweitzer, and Gregory Evinger; her great grandchildren: Ryan Perry, Lillian Montgomery, Hunter Montgomery, Parker Sanders, and Isabel Evinger; her siblings: Jerry Hale of Paris, Illinois, and Kay Ann Ray of Paris, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to the Edgar County Shrine Club.
