Donald L. Seals, age 89, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 11:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Marshall Rehabilitation and Nursing surrounded by family.

Graveside service will be at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Lick Prairie Cemetery in Wabash County, Illinois. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Donald was born on October 29, 1933 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois to the late William Leonard and Zelma (Whyde) Seals. He married Billie Ann Breen on December 26, 1959 and she survives.

Donald served his country as member of the United States Navy.

He was a transmission technician for GTE Telephone. Donald was a member of the Midwest Marines Fishing Club, Lincoln Land Bass Masters, and the Model Airplane Club – Okaw Valley RC. He enjoyed bass fishing, canning food, and working in the yard and gardening. He was also an avid Illini and Cardinals fan.

Donald is survived by his wife, his children: Donnie Seals of Paris, Illinois, Leslie Ann Seals of Paris, Illinois; his grandchildren: Racheal Elsberry of Paris, Illinois, Rianna (Eric) Lundy of Pueblo, Colorado; and his great granddaughter, Eva Lundy of Pueblo, Colorado.

He is preceded in death by his three brothers and four sisters.
