Donald E. Isakson's Obituary
Donald E. Isakson, age 83 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 11:25 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Illinois. He was a retail advertising pressman. Born August 14, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Knut and Margareta (Barbro) Isakson. He married Jeanine F. (Crail) Isakson in 1982 and she passed away December 12, 2013. Survivors include two sons, Steven Isakson of Johns Creek, Georgia and Scott Isakson of Mesa, Arizona, step-children; Linda Meyer of Sacramento, California, Amy Johnson of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Chuck Camp of Somonauk, Illinois, two grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren and six step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and three brothers; Olie Isakson, George Isakson and Gerry Isakson.
Cremation is scheduled, memorial services will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Edgar County Humane Society.
Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
