Dr. Donald C. Huffaker, age 94, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 7:40 A.M. on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Horizon Health Paris Community Hospital.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home with Pastor Troy Warner officiating. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery.

Donald was born on December 12, 1928 in Logan, Illinois to the late Dr. Columbus and Faye (Scott) Huffaker. He married Jacquelyn Louise on June 20, 1953 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She preceded him in death.

Donald was an Inland Steel Engineer. He resided in Highland, Illinois for 25 years and in Paris, Illinois for 30 years. Donald served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. He was member of the Lions Club, Rotary Club, American Legion Post 211, and the Masonic Lodge. Donald enjoyed researching genealogy, farming, and restoring furniture.

He is survived by his children: Donald Carl Huffaker of Elgin, Illinois, Susan Louise Huffaker of Alexandria, Virginia; and his grandson: James Joseph Huffaker.

Donald is preceded in death by his wife, his parents, four brothers, and two sisters.

Memorials may be made to Paris Community Hospital, Horizon Health or Paris American Legion.
