Dolores M. Thompson Krabel Downing, age 79, of Paris, IL passed away at 5:53 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2015, St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis, IN.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Private burial will be at a later date.

She was a homemaker, employed at Godding Shoe Factory and Windbreaker Jacket Factory. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church and the former Trinity United Methodist Church and the W.C.T.U. of the Trinity Church.

She was born May 17, 1935 in Morgan Township, Coles County, Illinois the daughter of the late Theodore G. and Daisy Bitner Ratts.

Dolores is survived by her children Vickie Arnold of Eastanollee, GA, Cynthia Spesard of Paris and Tony Thompson of Paris; her sisters Martha Price of Kansas and Marie Scheer of Terre Haute, IN; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Rhonda McKinney.
