Diane G. Atkinson, 73 of Chrisman, Illinois, passed away at 6:30 a.m. September 19, 2019 at home. She was born September 14, 1946, the daughter of Daniel and Helen (Boen) Dubois.  She had three siblings; Charles "Bud" (Karen) Dubois of Covington, Indiana, Darlene (Kelly) Wolcott of Danville, Illinois, and Dennis (Debbie) Dubois of Danville, Illinois.  She married Larry Atkinson, Sr. on October 23, 1965 in Danville, Illinois, he survives.  Diane is also survived by her children; Diana (Mike) Baugh of Chrisman, Illinois, Larry Atkinson, Jr. of Paris, Illinois, and Tracie (John) Kelly of Paris, Illinois.  She has five grandchildren; Shane (Robin) Baugh of Chrisman, Illinois, Jamie (Dwayne) Sexton of Cumming, Georgia, Dawn (Chad) Kimbarl of Dawsonville, Georgia, Shane Atkinson of Paris, Illinois, and Johnna Kelly (Devon Jones) of Chrisman, Illinois, twelve great grandkids, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Helen Dubois and her son Todd Atkinson.  Diane enjoyed going to Bingo and spending time with family and friends. She loved her Tye Dye shirts and bling.  Diane was a bear collector.  She had the best memory, remembering everyone's birthdays and anniversaries.  Per Diane's wishes, cremation is planned.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Chrisman Christian Church in Chrisman, Illinois with Pastor Troy Warner officiating.  Memorial visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until service time, at the church.  Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
