Dennis Lee Dunlap's Obituary
Dennis Lee Dunlap, age 61 of rural Paris, Illinois, passed away at 5:22 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at his residence. Dennis was a cattle farmer and was a member of New Providence Church, the National Hot Rod Association, and the National Cattleman's Association. Born September 23, 1954 in Terre Haute, Indiana, he was the son of the late Delbert O. and Imogene O. (Eller) Dunlap. Survivors include his wife Pam (McCracken) Dunlap, a son Scott (Brooke Good) Dunlap of Dennison, Illinois, a daughter Nicole Dunlap of Terre Haute, Indiana, step-children; Amanda (Mike) Lumpp of Paris, Illinois, Jennifer (Tim) Maggart of Peru, Indiana, and Sara Fainot of Terre Haute, Indiana, grandchildren; Karson, Hunter, Hadlee, Chesney, and Carli, step-grandchildren; Amber, Raven, Teegan, Gauge, Eloise, and Hudson, two nephews, Nathan Dunlap of Paris, Illinois and Seth Dunlap of New Orleans, Louisiana, a great nephew Mathis, a great niece Masyn, a cousin Travis Sturgell of Paris, Illinois, a sister-in-law Jayne Williams of Paris, Illinois, her daughters Julie and Jamie, and their children Jenna, Jillian, and Archer. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Andy Dunlap, spouse Kathy Hanks, one brother James Michael Dunlap, a nephew Ian Dunlap, and his dog Kuge. Visitation for Dennis will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Providence Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Edgar County Shrine Club
