Delores Mae Vance, age 91 of Paris, Illinois and formerly of Rochelle, Illinois, passed away at 5:20 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Life's Journey Senior Living in Paris, Illinois, where for the last three years she has been cared for by their loving staff. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Methodist Church.  She was also a member of the Hospital Auxiliary.

Born July 8, 1927 in Muscatine, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Alice (Apple) Terry. Shortly after World War II, she met the love of her life, veteran Robert Vance.  They were married on November 15, 1946 in Muscatine, Iowa; he passed away in 2002 after almost 56 years of marriage.  A loving, stay-at-home mother, she was devoted to her family.  She is survived by two daughters, Pam (Steve) Brinkerhoff of Paris, Illinois and Jan (Ed) Kissick of Rochelle, Illinois, seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one sister Mabel Terry of Muscatine, Iowa, and a brother-in-law Harvey (Darlene) Vance of Muscatine, Iowa.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and five siblings.

Private family services will be held at a later date in Muscatine, Iowa.
