Dell W. Sharp, age 62 of Paris, IL passed away at 11:42 a.m., Saturday, September 12, 2015 in Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN.  He was a shift leader at ABITEC Corporation.

Services are 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2015 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Visitation is Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m.  Burial will be in Edgar Cemetery. Memorials may be made to D.O. it Edgar County Cancer Support Group in care of ECCF, Inc.

Dell was born April 1, 1953 in Paris the son of the late Vernon W. and Daisy Lee McIntyre Sharp.

He married Paulette Miller Sharp in Paris.

Dell was a member of the Success Christian Church.

He loved spending time with family.  Dell especially enjoyed watching NASCAR and his favorite NASCAR driver, Dale Earnhardt.

Dell is survived by his wife Paulette; his children: Deanna Wallace of Marshall, Vernon Sharp of Greenwood, IN, Jason Sharp of Terre Haute, IN; his siblings: Donna Simpson of Paris, Eugene Sharp of Terre Haute, IN, Thomas Sharp of Knightsville, IN; his step-children: Charles Rhoden of Kansas, John Rhoden of Paris, Kenneth Rhoden of Paris, Larry Lowry of Kansas, Darrell Lowry of Paris; 5 grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren, 10 step-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; his dog and companion Jada.
