Debra was born on December 3, 1957, in Paris, Illinois, the daughter of the late Wayne and Joretta Good Throneburg Price.
She was a vocal music teacher for many years in the Chrisman and Paris school districts. After retiring from teaching, Debbie found peace in her love for books as the assistant librarian at the local library. Staying true to herself, Debbie stayed active in her community through music. Whether she was playing trumpet in the City Band, directing her church choir or volunteering as one of the community advent choir directors, Debbie was most happy bringing people together through her love of music.
Debbie is survived by her siblings: Mike (Jan) Throneburg of Coal City, Illinois, Darla (Sean Pruiett) Foster of Paris; her significant other of many years: Vernon Chambers; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial contributions in memory of Debbie may be made to Paris First Assembly of God Church.
