Daniel Paul Peterson, age 57, of Paris passed away at 8:10 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Carle Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

In keeping with State of Illinois mandates due to COVID-19 Pandemic, everyone attending the service must wear a mask while inside the funeral home. Everyone is welcome but we ask that you keep your visit short so that all who wish to pay their respects may do so.

A visitation will be from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home in Paris, Illinois. Burial will be at a later date.

Daniel was born on April 23, 1964 in Paris, Illinois the son of the late Dallas E. and Beverly Jean (Nicholson) Peterson.

He was a bartender at Shooters bar in Paris, Illinois.

Daniel is survived by his children: Heather Smith of Paris, Illinois, Karree Milburn of Robinson, Illinois, Alexis Peterson of Paris, Illinois; his brother: David Peterson of Paris, Illinois;  his nephew: Joey McMahan of Marshall, Illinois; his grandchildren: Kayden Smith of Paris, Illinois, Kaydee Smith of Paris, Illinois, Deacon Waldrop of Robinson, Illinois, Zach Worstell of Robinson, Illinois, and Abel Crabtree of Robinson, Illinois.

He is preceded in death by his brother: Dale Peterson.
