Daniel Allen Mohler, age 86, of Paris, IL passed away at 10:01 a.m., Monday June 8, 2015, Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN.

He was a retired printer from the Terre Haute Tribune Star in Terre Haute, IN. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post 211.

All services are private. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be made to E.C.C.F, INC/D.O. it! Fund.

Burial will be in Edgar Cemetery.

He was born July 29, 1928 in Paris the son of the late Richard O. and Mildred Cunningham Mohler.

He married Christine M. Cash Mohler December 31, 1948 in Grandview and she passed away February 25, 2009.

Daniel is survived by his children: Daniel O. (Sandy) Mohler of Paris, Dennis K. (Marilyn) Mohler of Danville, David L. (Lorri) Mohler of Chrisman; his grandchildren: Matthew Mohler of Terre Haute, IN, Douglas Mohler of Indianapolis, IN, Brian Mohler of Paris, Andrew Mohler of Paris, Gary Mohler of Paris, Danielle Mohler of Michigan; his great-grandchildren: Nick Mohler, Giya Mohler, Deep Petal; his brother: Wilton Mohler of Huntsville, AL; his step-sister: Pat Ellington of Dudley and his step-brother Dr. Rev. Lawrence Smith of Chattanooga, TN. He was preceded in death by his brother Edwin Mohler.
