Comer Gann, Jr. 72 of Paris, IL passed away at 12:57 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

He was a welder and truck driver and worked for Procter and Gamble, Trailmobile and Great Dane.

Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2020 with Pastor Jim Blue officiating at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home with visitation from noon to 2 p.m.

Burial will be in Edgar Cemetery. Donations in Comer's memory may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Comer was born April 19, 1947 in Woodbury, Tennessee the son of the late Comer and Lula Scott. He married Clara Salesbury Gann October 8, 1965 in Paris, IL and she survives. Other survivors include his children: Bobbie Jo (Brian) Switzer of Paris, IL, Mary Lynn (Jeff) Switzer of Paris, IL Angela Annette Gann of Paris, IL; his siblings Jean Tomes of Vermilion, IL, J.W. (Roberta) Gann of Paris, IL, Diane McGee of McMinnville, TN, Sharon Taylor of Vermilion, IL; his grandchildren: Eric (Sarah) Switzer, of Paris, IL, Brittany (Cody) Lewis of Evansville, IN, Brice Switzer, Jill Switzer, Sierra Gann all from Paris, IL; his great-grandchildren: Bentley, Wesley, Reese, Lydia, Cameron and Sophia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings C.D. Gann and Pam Franks, and his granddaughter Chelsie Gann.
