Charlotte M. Glidewell, age 86, of Georgetown, Illinois passed away at 8:27 PM on Friday, July 17, 2026, at her home surrounded by family.

Visitation will be from 12:00PM to 1:00PM on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Edgar Cemetery.

Charlotte was born on March 22, 1940, in Paris, Illinois to Ralph Eugene and Charlotte Delphia (Edwards) Pennington. She married Robert Lee Glidewell on January 5, 1956, in Henderson, Kentucky.

Charlotte was a Mary Kay consultant for over 20 years. She loved bowling, watching birds - especially hummingbirds, tending to her flower gardens, and took great pride in driving her 2006 Dodge Daytona.

She is survived by her son, Brad Glidewell (Holly) of Covington, Indiana; her grandchildren: Robert Michael, Lois, Megan, Brooke, Grace, Makiah, Trystan, Samuel, Kaitlyn, Cody, Elijah, and Camden; and several great grandchildren.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, her children: Robert Gene Glidewell and Cherri Klinkow; her grandchildren, Candy and Bryttani, her parents, and her brothers: Richard William Edwards and Donald Gene Pennington Sr.
