Charlotte June Crippes, age 87 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 7:49 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at her residence. She was a homemaker.  Charlotte was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Altar Society, and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

Born December 29, 1931 in Terre Haute, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy E. and Helen (Mooney) Aarnink. She married Raymond P.J. Crippes June 29, 1950 in Terre Haute, Indiana; he passed away January 31, 2008.  Survivors include three children; Lugene (Dennis) Joines of Paris, Illinois, Timothy R. (Nanette) Crippes of Chrisman, Illinois, and Jolene (Rick D.) Crippes-Callaway of Palestine, Illinois, eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great grandchild expected.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sisters Mary F. Nickless and Alice A. Greene.

Following cremation, a memorial visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2019 in the Gathering Space of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2019 in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Fr.
