Bruce A. "Buster" Foltz, age 70, of Paris, Illinois, passed away on September 20, 2021 at 6:33p.m. in his residence.

A visitation will be from 2:00p.m. to 3:00p.m. on Tuesday, September  28, 2021at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow with burial in Embarrass Cemetery near Redmon, Illinois.

He was born on July 28, 1951 in Paris, Illinois. The son of the late Frank Foltz and Mary Wilson Foltz.

Bruce owned and operated Foltz Surveying and resided at the family homestead west of Redmon, Illinois. He was in the excellent care of Deanie Foltz of Paris for his final years.

He is survived by his son, Brandon Foltz of Paris, Illinois; his sister, Dora Roberts of Okeechobee, Florida; his granddaughters: Lily Foltz of Paris, Illinois, Addyson Foltz of Paris, Illinois; his nephews: Justin Wilhoit of Kansas, Illinois, and Jason Wilhoit of Kansas, Illinois.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Foltz; his sister, Melody Wilhoit; and his girlfriend, Peggy Montague.

Music was his PASSION. He played bass guitar and vocals for several bands from his teens to his sixties namely Take a Turtle to Dinner, Sister Kate and many more. Bruce (Buster) had the handicap of being deaf in one ear and was missing one finger, but is still playing beautiful music in our heads and hearts.
