Brian Keith Knoepfel died January 22 ^nd , 2016.  He was born November 19 ^th , 1962 in Paris.  His parents were (Don) William Don Knoepfel and Frances Irene (Winkle) Knoepfel.  He is preceded in death by his father Don Knoepfel.  He is survived by his mother Frances Irene Knoepfel.  His brother Kevin Lee Knoepfel married to Joanna (Jensen) Knoepfel of Paris.  His niece and nephew Jenny Irene Knoepfel and Hans William Knoepfel.  He graduated from Paris High School in 1981.  He had worked at Blaw Knox in Mattoon as a designer in the tooling department. He also worked at GSI in Paris and Layco in Clarkcenter. He donated his time as a track/field throwing coach at Mayo middle school for 10 years. He enjoyed woodworking, model train collecting and antique cars.  His main yearly event was to attend the Newport Hill Climb. He was a member of the Model T club, the Studebaker Driver's club and to the Antique Studebaker club.  He was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church. Services will be held October 8 ^th at 10:00am at the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Paris. Memorial donation can be made to Hans Knoepfel Macy's Day Parade account at Edgar County Bank to help with his 2016 trip.
