Brenda Kay Reed 72 of Paris, IL passed away at 7:44 a.m., Thursday September 26, 2019 at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute, IN.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2019 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from Noon until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial of the cremains will be in Edgar Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

She was a secretary in the guidance department at Paris High School and she worked at the Edgar County Bank, and Paris Community Hospital.

Brenda was a member of the 1 ^st Baptist Church.

She was born January 8, 1947 in Paris the daughter of the late James I. and Barbara Griffin Brown.

Brenda married Donald Reed July 29, 1965 in Paris and he survives along with her children: Jamie (Jim) Ingram of Chrisman IL, Chad (Cynthia Campion) Reed of Paris, IL and Emily (Paul) Sims of Plainfield, IN; her grandchildren Logan Ingram of Marshall, IL, Meghan Ingram of Champaign, IL, Chase Reed of Paris, IL, Alyssa Reed of Paris, IL Harleigh Malony and Lorelei Sims both of Plainfield, Indiana, and her special friends Sandi Johnson, Reba Fulk, Carla Cochrane and her daughter-in-law Kelly Reed.
