Bobby L. Spencer's Obituary
Bobby L. Spencer, age 76 of Paris, passed away at 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2015 at Twin Lakes Rehab and Health Care Center, Paris. He was a self-employed roofing contractor and was formerly in the National Guard. Born December 29, 1938 in Paris, he was the son of the late William A. and Julia (Blockinger) Spencer. Survivors include a daughter Bobbie Rutter of Rockville, Indiana, a son Scott Spencer of Paris, a sister Virginia Sue Cunningham of Chrisman, a brother George Spencer of Paris, and three grandchildren, Evelee Rutter of Rockville, Braden Spencer of Paris, and Brianna Gilbert of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings; Annabelle Hickman, Stella May Gosnell, Vernon Spencer, Donald Ray Spencer, Bill J. Spencer, and Fred D. Spencer. Following cremation, a memorial graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2015 in Edgar Cemetery. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
