Billy Joe Maynard Jr., age 53, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 4:37 P.M. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at his home.

Following cremation, visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at the funeral home.

Billy was born on April 8, 1971, in Paris, Illinois to Sue Ellen (Nicholson) Maynard and Billy Joe Maynard Sr.

He worked for Septimus as a team leader for many years and later worked for Terminix. Billy enjoyed fishing, watching Two and a Half Men and NASCAR especially watching Sterling Marlin.

He is survived by his children: Billi Jo Maynard, Jordan Hogan; his sisters: Paula (Mike) Kemper, Kelly (Ryan) Young, Amanda Harper; his cousin: Donna (Joe) Fessant; his niece: Courtney (John) Kemper; his aunts: Janice Nicholson, Paula Nicholson, Linda Siebert, Lisa Garner, Shirley Wilky, Connie VanHoutin, Sharon Evitt, Darlene (Sid) Justice; his uncles: David Nicholson, Bill Martin, Bob Maynard; his nieces and nephews: Brittany (Lance) DeWeese, Mariah Kemper, Alyssa Reed, and Chase Reed; his great-nieces: Abby, Addy, Mae; his great-nephew: Eli; his close friends: Mike Steen, Scott Gale, Bruce Zorn, Mike Walker; several cousins, and his best friend: Toby the cat.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.
