Billy Dean Luth, age 87 of Paris, Illinois passed away on December 12, 2024 at his home surrounded by family.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Grace Lutheran Church in Paris with Pastor Daniel Smith officiating. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements

Billy was born on March 8, 1937, in Edgar County, Illinois to Alfred A. and Geneva C. (Hensley) Luth. He married Wanda Lynch on December 5, 1958, at Grace Lutheran Church in Paris and she survives.

Billy was a Switching Technician for General Telephone for over 30 years after attending Devry Technical School in Chicago, Illinois. He was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church. Billy enjoyed playing golf, woodworking, and had a strong interest in electronics.

He is survived by his wife, his children: James D. (Tammy) Luth and Myra Leeman both of Paris; his grandchildren: Brandon Leeman and Shannon (Luth) Kitta; and his great grandchildren: Scarlett, Bella, Roman, Gianna, Lucia, Atticus, and Clark Kitta.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, James.

Memorials may be made to Transitions Hospice or Grace Lutheran Church.
