Billie Ann (Breen) Seals, age 87, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 4:32 A.M. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Horizon Health Paris Community Hospital.

Funeral service will be at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2 hours prior until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lick Prairie Cemetery in Wabash County, Illinois

Billie was born on July 31, 1935 in rural Lawrenceville, Illinois to Orla Revis and Louise (Shipley) Breen. She married Donald L. Seals on December 26, 1959 in Bridgeport, Illinois. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2023.

Billie received her Master's of Education at Eastern Illinois University. She was a teacher all of her life, she taught at Redmon School for over 30 years and at Memorial Elementary in Paris for 4 years. Billie was a longtime member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Paris. She was very active in her church, she taught Sunday School, she was the Treasurer, played the piano, and sang in the choir. Billie enjoyed spending time at the lake watching birds and reading devotions.

She is survived by her children: Donnie Seals of Paris, Illinois, Leslie Ann Seals of Paris, Illinois; her grandchildren: Rachael Elsberry of Paris, Illinois, Rianna (Eric) Lundy of Pueblo, Colorado; her great granddaughter, Eva Lundy of Pueblo, Colorado; and her siblings: Maxine Miller of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Jacque (Sanford) Poland of Springfield, Missouri.

Billie is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her two sisters, Mary Euldeen O'Connor and Florence Fox.
