Beverly Ann Martin's Obituary
Beverly Ann Martin, age 81 of Paris, Illinois, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 10:35 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at Providence Health Care, St. Mary of the Woods, Indiana. She was a Registered Nurse for Paris Community Hospital and Lincolnland Visiting Nurses. Her passion was nursing. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend and she will be remembered for her strong, compassionate, and loving spirit.
Born September 5, 1936 in Paris, she was the daughter of the late Orval and Leta Lucille (Moss) Givens. Survivors include four children; Mark (Dixie) Martin of Westfield, Indiana, Michael (Deborah) Martin of Chrisman, Illinois, Ty Ann (Rocky) Whittemore of Paris, Illinois, and Chris (Joyce) Martin of Indianapolis, Indiana, two siblings, Pat Irvine and Frank Givens, both of Paris, eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Orval Lee "Bo" Givens, Jr.
Visitation for Mrs. Martin will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Edgar Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Gideon International or the Compassionate Food Ministry of Paris.
