Betty L. Long, 84 of Paris, IL passed away at 7:27 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016, in Paris Healthcare Center.

She was a Nurses Aid at Paris Community Hospital for 29 years.

Betty was a member of the 1 ^st Church of the Nazarene and the 20 year club at Paris Community Hospital.

Services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, April 28, 2016 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Williamson officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Betty was born April 7, 1932 in Edgar County at the home of her parents, the late Roy and Grace Lewis Barr.

She married Richard E. Long August 1, 1968 in Marshall and he passed away April 7, 2004.

Betty is survived by her son: James Hutson (Vickie Barnett) of Westville; her grandchildren: Tina Pribble and Teri Hutson of Marion; her great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Pribble, Jordan Pribble, Connor Stout all of Marion; her brother Mike Barr of San Antonio, TX; her niece: Gloria of Hammond, IN; her nephew Tom of California; and her loyal companion: Sampson.

She was also preceded in death by her son: Dennis Hutson in 1993 and her sisters: Audrey, Norma and Margie. Memorials may be made to: E.C.C.F./ DO it Edgar County Cancer Support Group.
