Betty Irene Kraemer, age 93, of Chrisman, Illinois, passed away at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Horizon Health Paris Community Hospital in Paris, Illinois.

The visitation and funeral services will be private. A public graveside service will be held at Franklin Cemetery in Chrisman, Illinois at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, May 3, 2021. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Betty was born on March 9, 1928 in Chrisman, Illinois the daughter of the late Archie L. and Retta Newport Craig. She married Clarence Kraemer on January 4, 1947 in Paris, Illinois. He passed away on January 16, 2012.

She was a telephone clerk for General Telephone Electric Company of Paris and Chrisman until she retired in February of 1979.

Betty was an active member of the Pioneer Retirement Group of GTE.

She is survived by her children: Kenneth "Pete" (Sharlynn) Kraemer of Chrisman, Illinois, David (Margo) Kraemer of Paris, Illinois; her grandchildren: Kelley (Don) Potter of Fishers, Indiana, Krista Kraemer of Chrisman, Illinois, Kim (Mike) Curl of Paris, Illinois, Adrienne (Peter) Regis of Chicago, Illinois, Ingrid Kraemer (Adam) Petrich of Chicago, Illinois, Erica (Kyle) Frangiamore of Mt. Prospect, Illinois, her great-grandchildren: Austin Curl, Ethan Curl, Logan Curl, Dalton Potter, Kameron Potter, Kaitlynn Morgan, Anthony Regis, Julia Regis, Isabella Frangiamore, Joseph Frangiamore, Nicholas Regis, Olivia Petrich, Avery Petrich, Keira Frangiamore; her siblings: Elsie (Elton) Ingram of Chrisman, Illinois, and JoAnn Lacy of Rancho Cucamonga, California.

Betty is preceded in death by her siblings: Rosalee Krabel, Maylou Krabel, Lucille Good, Jim Craig, Donald Earl Craig, Joseph Craig, and an infant brother.
