Betty Joan Herrington's Obituary
Betty Joan Herrington, 78 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 4:17 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Paris Community Hospital Emergency Room. Mrs. Herrington was a homemaker and a cook at Glenn Barr's Restaurant for several years. She was member of the Southern Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017 with visitation from noon until service time at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Burial will be in Edgar Cemetery.
Mrs. Herrington was born April 18, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of the late George Haenig and the late Dorothy Pruitt Haenig. On April 21, 1972 she married Darrell Herrington in Paris, Illinois. He preceded her in death.
Betty is survived by 3 sons, Jerry (Trudy) Arrasmith of Paris, Allen Arrasmith of Paris, and Johnny Arrasmith of Springfield, Illinois, two daughters, Sheila (Stephen) Miller of Toledo, Illinois, and Glenda (Greg) Chappell of Terre, Haute, Indiana, four step-children, Victor Herrington, Raymond Herrington, Dixie, and Rita; one sister, Mary Ann Blei of Effingham, Illinois, 9 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Doris Trover and Diana Arrasmith.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Southern Baptist Church of Paris, Illinois.
