Betty L. Henson age 90 of Paris, IL passed away at 2:48 a.m., Saturday February 23, 2019 in the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute, IN. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Mary's Altar Society and a nurse aid at Paris Community Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday February 27, 2019 in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Valery Burusu as celebrant. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday February 26, 2019 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church.

Betty was born July 28, 1928 in Pawnee, IL the daughter of the late Thomas and Leona Minder Hill.

She married John H. Henson in Union City, TN in 1948 and he passed away September 13, 1997.

Betty is survived by her children: James (Cristi) Henson of Brownsville, TX and Joseph (Yolanda) Henson of Paris; and her step-daughter Shirley Yeargin of Paris, 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 6 step grandchildren and 9 step great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her siblings Helen Baietto, Thomas Hill, Jr., Vern Hill and Dorothy Henson and her step daughter Peggy Poore.
