Bessie J. Switzer age 78 of Paris, IL passed away at 8:05 a.m., Thursday August 20, 2020 in Cobblestone at the Crossing Health Campus in Terre Haute, IN.

Private graveside services and burial will be in Edgar Cemetery. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

In keeping with federal mandates due to COVID-19, the service is limited to immediate family only.

She was employed at the Zenith Corporation and Stewart Wire Co. Bessie was a member of the Paris First Church of the Nazarene.

She was born in Paris, IL July 8, 1942 the daughter of the late William Harold and Ruth Lucille Peebles Cline.

Bessie is survived by her children: Jeffrey Allen (Mary) Switzer of Paris, Brian Eugene (Bobbie Jo) Switzer of Paris, Kimberly Ann Sanders of Vermilion and Tammy Jo Sexton of Paris; her siblings: Don (Peggy) Cline of Paris, Marilyn Ann (Jack) Chord of Paris, Brenda Joyce (Randy) Lock of Vermilion; her grandchildren: Eric (Sarah) Switzer of Paris, Brittany (Cody) Lewis of Evansville, Indiana, Brice Switzer of Paris, Jill Switzer of Paris, Cody (Melissa) Sanders of Paris, Brook (Tiff) Sanders of Paris, Brandon Sanders of Paris, Megan Sexton of Marshall, Illinois and Ryan Sexton of Paris.

She is also preceded in death by her sisters Pat Willoughby, Barbara Jean Ogden and her brother William H. Cline, Jr.
