Bernie E. Brady, age 72 of Paris, Illinois passed away at 11:20PM on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Providence Health Care in St. Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana.

No services are being held. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Bernie was born on September 20, 1952, in Clinton, Indiana to Bernie E. Brady Sr. and Helen (Barushok) Brady. He married Becky Peebles on November 20, 1971, at the First Assembly of God Church in Paris and she survives.

Bernie worked at Midwest Body and Manufacturing as well as District #95. He found joy in the simple things: fishing, mowing his lawn, and most of all, being with his family, especially his grandchildren. Known for his generous heart, Bernie would do anything for anyone at any time.

He is survived by his wife, his children: Matthew Brady (Kristi) and Mark Brady; his grandchildren: Malaya Brady, Elliana Brady, Michael Brady and Alivia Brady; and his sister: Evelyn Brown.

Bernie was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Cathy Jones.
