Benjamin "Ben" Thomas Hopper II, age 58, of Paris, Illinois passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 2:30 P.M. on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Edgar Cemetery.

Ben was born on January 25, 1965 in Concord, California to the late Benjamin Thomas and Dorothy Caroline (Nelson) Hopper.

Ben was a longtime member of Lake Ridge Christian Church in Paris. He enjoyed participating in the Illinois Special Olympics. Ben loved his family and extended family at Highview Terrace and Tanner Place, and he especially enjoyed watching the Dukes of Hazard. Ben will be remembered for his infectious smile and his love for others.

He is survived by his sisters: Linda (Bob) West of Paris, Illinois, Sandi (Doug) Johnson of Paris, Illinois; his nieces and nephews: Tonya (Mark) Ross, Carrie (Pedro) Gomez, Nikki Land, Derrick (Mary) Johnson, Darrin (Heather) Johnson all of Paris, as well as several aunts, uncles, great nieces, and great nephews.

Ben is preceded in death by his parents, and his niece, Cynthia West.
