Barbara Ann Jaco's Obituary
Barbara Ann Jaco, age 47 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 4:45 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2017 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, Illinois. Barbara was born February 15, 1969 in Paris, Illinois to Steven Jaco and Martha A. (Matheny) Jaco Sturmer. Survivors include her mother Martha "Marti" Sturmer of Paris, Illinois, her step-father Richard Postlewait of Mattoon, Illinois, her children; Jessy Spencer of Paris, Illinois, Shirley Kennedy of St. Bernice, Indiana, Veronica Jaco of St. Bernice, Indiana, and Jason Spencer of Danville, Illinois, one grandson Riley Rhoads of Paris, Illinois, two aunts, Jane (Tony) Dawson of Paris, Illinois and Velda (Dan) Vice of Marshall, Illinois, and cousins Erica Dawson and Alicia Robertson. She was preceded in death by her father, her maternal grandparents Ralph and Helen Matheny, a brother William D. "Willie" Jaco, and an uncle George William Matheny. Private memorial services for the family will be held at a later date at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to ECCF, Inc. Do It Fund.
