Barbara S. Dickenson 92 of Paris, IL passed away at 2:30 a.m., Sunday, June 17, 2018 in Signature Health Care of Terre Haute. She was a homemaker and a teacher's aid at Tiger Tots.

Following cremation a memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 hour before the memorial service Saturday. Burial will be in Edgar Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Barbara was a member of the 1 ^st United Methodist Church, the Town and Country Square Dance Club, and the Edgar County Home Extension.

She was born May 8, 1926 in Scotland, IL the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy Black Southard.

Barbara married William W. Dickenson March 6, 1949 in Logan and he passed away October 1, 2000.

She is survived by her children: Robert Alan (Monisha) Dickenson of Jersey City, New Jersey, Mary E. (Alan) Henderson of Hoffman Estates, Lois A. Dickenson of Charleston and Cynthia (Jim) Walls of Paris; her grandchildren: Christopher Henderson of Hawaii, Cameron Walls of Chicago, Chase (Haley) Walls of Bridgeton, IN and Kasey Dickenson of Pittsburg, PN; and her great-grandchildren: Ryleigh Olivia-Mae Walls and Chad Bosworth both of Bridgeton, IN.

She was preceded in death by her daughter: Ellen Louise Dickenson, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
