Barbara Anne Bishop, age 95 of Paris, Illinois passed away at 11:41 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Twin Lakes Extended Care in Paris.

No services are scheduled. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Barbara was born on January 19, 1930, in Canton, Ohio to the late George Joseph and Ruth Leah (Bair) Kastor. She married Alvord Lawrence Bishop III and he preceded her in death.

Barbara was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed creating artwork, listening to classical music and tending to her garden. She also taught aerobics at the YMCA in Paris for many years.

She is survived by her children: Daniel Bishop (Paula), Sarah Handley (Kevin), Kathy Henneke (Dan), Edward Bishop; her grandchildren: Eartha Bishop, Enoch Bishop, Brianna Bishop, Amber Bishop, Braden Herbert (Lynn), Logan Herbert (Evelyn), Alex Creech (Claire), Tori Hennecke, Andrew Bishop (Josie), Elizabeth Jones (Cody), Lauren Houlne (Jake), Christine Casey (Sean), Eric Handley (Brittanni), Garrett Handley (Fiona); and her great grandchildren: Elijah Bishop, Stella Bishop, Riven Bishop, Solstice Bishop, Aidan Jones, Conrad Jones, Emma Jones, Corbin Jones, Eleanor Jones, Silas Jones, Hunter Handley, Lynnlee Handley, and Lucy Handley.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, her children: Michael Bishop and Mark Bishop; her parents and her siblings: Paul Kastor, Noel Kastor, Russell Kastor and Margaret Kastor.
