Arnona Dolores Pitcock, 91, of Paris, died at 3:05 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022, at IU Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind.

A funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mike Wood officiating. Burial follows in Fairview Cemetery near Kansas. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until the service time Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pitcock was born Jan. 28, 1930, in Paris, the daughter of the late Frederick H. and Arnona M. (White) Good. She married Elmer Paul Pitcock Oct. 23, 1948, at the Edgar County Courthouse. He preceded her in death in 2003.

Surviving are two children, Paula (Gary) Marrs of Paris and Dennis Pitcock of Loves Park; two grandchildren, Heather S. Marrs Dean and Adam C. Marrs, both of Paris; and one great-grandson, Asher C. Dean.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Megan Pitcock and J. Matthew Pitcock; her sister, Joretta Throneburg Price; and her brother, Richard Good.

Mrs. Pitcock was longtime member of the First Assembly of God Church where she was a faithful member of the church choir. She worked for many years as a waitress at the Glenn Barr Restaurant and later worked in several Paris 95 schools as a cook.
