Antonio Jose Hurtado's Obituary
Antonio Jose Hurtado, age 76 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 12:41 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015 in Champaign, Illinois. He was an engineering technician for Illinois Department of Transportation. Mr. Hurtado was a United States Army veteran, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, a member of Knights of Columbus Council 860, and a member of American Legion Post 211. Born July 29, 1938 in Quito – Ecuador, South America, he was the son of the late Ernesto and Francisca Landivar Hurtado. He is survived by three sons; Mike Hurtado of Normal, Illinois, Tony Hurtado, Jr. of Guilford, Connecticut, and Jorge E. Hurtado of Springfield, Virginia, a brother Jorge Hurtado of Quito – Ecuador, South America, a sister Fransisca Calvo of Palatine, Illinois, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Ernesto Hurtado. Visitation for Mr. Hurtado will be held from Noon to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. David Zimmerman officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Post 211 and VFW Post 3601.
