Anne Amanda Toensing, age 76, of Paris, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Paris Health and Rehab Center.

No services are scheduled at this time. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Anne was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on November 11, 1946, the daughter of the late John and Alice Alden.

She was married to her husband, Clayton Toensing for 39 years until his passing earlier this year.

Anne was a homemaker and the primary caregiver to her three sons.

Her family, the Aldens, were part of the Mayflower Society, which were the first to arrive in the US on the Mayflower.

Anne is survived by her children: Allen (Jennifer) Westphal, Terry Westphal, David Westphal all of Michigan City, Indiana; her five grandchildren; her 2 great-grandchildren; her siblings: Bob Alden of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Betty Alden of Globe, Arizona.

She is preceded in death by her brothers: Jim Alden and John Alden.
