Annabelle Garwood, age 92, of Paris, IL passed away 1:38 a.m., Sunday, September 14, 2014 at the Paris Community Hospital, Paris. Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 17, 2014 in Memorial Gardens with Bro. Kurt Speece officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens. Visitation is private at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Paris Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #7 or E.C.C.F., Inc. Do it Fund in care of the funeral home.

She was an auditor at the Edgar County Bank, a member of the 1 ^st Christian Church Disciples of Christ and a 50 year member of Paris Order of Eastern Star Chapter #7. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, cooking, baking and reading.

Annabelle was born October 22, 1921 in Edgar County the daughter of the late Ernest and Lola Wetzel Querry.

She married Elmer E. Garwood October 11, 1940 and he passed away January 5, 2003.

Annabelle is survived by her children L. Suzanne Kelly and Ernest E. (Linda) Garwood all of Paris; her grandchildren Lori (Delmar) Bell of Paris, David B. Laufman of Indianapolis, IN, Brad (Mitzi) Laufman of Paris, Lanny (Darla) Alexander of Rantoul, Tony (Colleen) Garwood of Joliet, Rodney Garwood of Paris and Andrea (Andrew) Owen of Peachtree City, GA; her twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her sister Estella Weltz and one granddaughter Kylea Armstrong.
