Allen J. Moore Sr., age 71, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 7:15 P.M. on  Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Edgar Cemetery

Allen was born on March 31, 1951 in Paris, Illinois. He was raised by George Graham and his adoptive mother Dorothy Bartlett.

He was a welder at JICase and a Tow Truck Driver. He was also a business owner, doing radiator repairs in Paris. Allen was the former president of the Eagle's Club. He enjoyed gardening and going out to eat.

He is survived by his children: Angel Moore of Paris, Illinois, Allen Moore Jr. of Paris, Illinois, Beth Moore of Montezuma, Illinois; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and his siblings: Darrell Cochran of Paris, Illinois and Tony Cochran of Paris, Illinois.

Allen is preceded in death by his parents.
