Alice L. Gale, age 80 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 5:42 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in Union Hospital Emergency Room. She had been employed by Zenith Corp., Unarco, and was a home health care worker for Lincoln Land. Born July 27, 1936 in Gary, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Charles Taylor, Sr. and the late Elizabeth (Lenhart) Taylor. She married Lonzo Gale and he preceded her in death in 1985. Survivors include children; Dennis (Lee Martin) Gale of Pittsburg, California, Jeffery (Shelia) Gale of Fredericksburg, Maryland, Eric (Paulette) Gale of Berlin, New Hampshire, Debra (Luigi) Chiaia of Orange Park, Florida, and Scott (Shelley) Gale of Paris, Illinois, eleven grandchildren; Bryan Morris of Illinois, Kris Gale of Illinois, Nicole Ritter of Florida, Erica Ritter of Florida, Alessia Chiaia of Florida, Luigi A. Chiaia of Florida, Jessica Gale of New Hampshire, Erica Gale of New Hampshire, Alex Gale of California, Gwen Gale of California, and Liz Gale of California, and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a daughter Pamela Gerber. Her siblings were; Charles Wesley Taylor, Sr, Florence N. Taylor, Florence Rosalie "Rosie" Boness, Emma Marie Gale, Leota May Short, Richard Allen Taylor, Peter William "Bill" Taylor, Charles Wesley Taylor, Jr., Hattie Louise Keister, Walter David Taylor, Margaret Elizabeth Covey, Wesley Earl Taylor, John W. Taylor, Kenneth Wilbur Taylor, Donald L. Taylor, James Everett Taylor, and Charlene Hope Rowlett. Following cremation, a memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home with memorial services to follow at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
