Adam Corey Timmerman, age 36 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 8:57 a.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 in Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Illinois. He was a self-employed small machine mechanic. Adam was an interesting individual, a quiet man, who was creative and a jack of all trades. He enjoyed tinkering with things, fishing, and hunting. He was an animal lover and his family was very important to him. He also was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox fan.
Adam was born August 6, 1981 in Paris, Illinois. Survivors include his mother Rebecca Clapp of Terre Haute, Indiana, his father Kenneth E. Timmerman and his step-mother Trudy Timmerman of Paris, Illinois, siblings; Brandon Wayne Timmerman of Paris, Illinois, Amanda Lynn (George) Fields of Rosedale, Indiana, Sasha Dawn (Deon) Hampton of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Jasmine Renee (Joseph) Eveland of Paris, Illinois, a step-brother Andy Davidson of Iowa, his maternal grandmother Norma Clapp of Paris, Illinois, his paternal grandmother Betty Cusick of Chrisman, Illinois, his aunts and uncles; Cathy (Dan) Buckner of Paris, Illinois, Peggy (Don) Cline of Paris, Illinois, Leonard (Sun) Clapp of Rockville, Indiana, Doug Clapp of Paris, Illinois, Paula (Carl) Ray of Mason, Ohio, and Lori (David) Gayle of Clinton, Indiana, and Jerrilyn (David Penn) McKinney of Montezuma, Indiana, ten nieces, six nephews, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Reese Clapp, his paternal grandfather David Cusick, and two uncles, Vincent Clapp and Clyde Timmerman.
Following cremation, memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Bell Ridge Christian Church with memorial visitation held from Noon to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the church. Private interment of the cremains will be held at a later date in New Providence Cemetery. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
