Rusty Shane Bogue, age 33 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2013. He was a self-employed aviator. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation from Indiana State University. Mr. Bogue was a pilot, flight instructor, and, with his wife Ann, owned RSB Aviation. He maintained a charter pilot service, a crop dusting service, and was involved in aircraft repair and aerial photography. He belonged to the Aircraft Owner and Pilots Association (AOPA), the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) and the Professional Aviation Fraternity Alpha eta Rho.
Born November 13, 1979 in Danville, Illinois, he was the son of Robert and Laura (Ketchem) Bogue. He married Ann (Black) Bogue September 20, 2008 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Paris, Illinois.
Survivors include his wife Ann Bogue of Paris, Illinois, his parents, Robert and Laura Bogue of Paris, Illinois, children Mary Josephine Bogue, at home and his unborn child, brothers Bradley Wayne Bogue and his wife Danielle of Collinsville, Illinois, Riley Gene Bogue and his fiancé Justine Pittenger of Paris, Illinois and Casey Allen Bogue and his fiancé Karen Ann Kelley of Paris, Illinois, a half brother Robert Leon Bogue of Carmel, Indiana, a half sister Christina Kincaid of Daytona Beach, Florida, several aunts and uncles, including Jayne Brown and her husband Tim of Paris, Illinois and Shirley Haddix, her late husband Bud, of Chrisman, Illinois, cousins Travis Brown and his wife Shanda of Nabb, Indiana and Lyndsey Norman and her husband Derek of Trenton, Tennessee, several nieces and nephews, and his sisters-in-law; Cindy Spencer and her husband Rich of Paris, Illinois, Sande Sherer and her husband Bart of Paris, Illinois, and Mandy Martin and her husband Thad of Paris, Illinois.
Visitation for Rusty will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2013 in Lake Ridge Christian Church Family Life Center 122 East Steidl Road Paris, Illinois.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2013 in Lake Ridge Christian Church Family Life Center.
Burial will follow in Edgar Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rusty Bogue Memorial Children’s Fund in care of First Bank and Trust.
