Larry D. Nave, age 72, of Paris, IL, formerly of Chrisman, IL, passed away 6:15 a.m., Sunday, June 23, 2013 in Paris Healthcare Center, Paris, IL.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Paris, IL. He loved Jesus.
Larry was employed by Lebanon Fertilizer Chemicals, Danville, IL for 42 years.
He cherished his parents, wife and family. Larry was a friend to all animals.
He was born July 28, 1940 in Cayuga, IN the son of the late Otto Vernon and Virginia Lee Cook Nave.
Larry married Lynda Ballard Nave June 18, 1960 in Chrisman, IL.
He is survived by his wife Lynda; his children Gregory Nave and wife Krisie of Davison, MI, Vicki Nave of Converse, TX; his grandchildren Karli Nave and Jacob Nave both of Davison, Michigan, Eric Nave of Converse, TX, and Matthew Costello of Converse, TX; his brothers William Nave of Catlin, IL, Joe Nave of Indianapolis, IN, John Nave of Crawfordsville, IN, Russell Nave of Hagerstown, MD; his sisters Patricia Tingley of Paris, IL, and Catrice Gackle of Terre Haute, IN.
Larry was preceded in death by his sister Naomi Veach.
Following cremation funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday. June 26, 2013 at Grace Lutheran Church, Paris, IL with Rev. Ryan Fehrmann officiating. Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Chrisman, IL.
